Customer Service & Social Media
I am just winding up a trip to Phoenix where I met with my Synergy Network partners. While traveling I couldn’t help but notice that I received outstanding customer service almost everywhere. I’m not sure if people are just happy they still have a job or the fact that everyone now has the power to review any business on the web is having an impact on customer service.
Midwest Airlines promises “The best care in the air” and they delivered. The staff at the Camelback Inn was fabulous. The restaurants in Scottsdale (Roaring Fork and AZ 88) were both on top of their game. So much so that I am going to take the time to seek out review sites to give them kudos.
Whatever the reason for this upswing in customer service is, I am thankful and hope this trend continues.

Dan,
You’re definitely right about this one. With the power to access online reviews of nearly any business on the planet, how could establishments not see the need to step up their customer service?
With our economy being driven by so many service-based industries, the Internet is making our lives much, much better.
